Oceanside's breakfast splits by neighbourhood. South O has the long-standing sit-down places people queue for. Downtown has bakeries and cafés you can walk to from the pier. The harbour is more about a coffee with a boat view than a proper plate. If you're heading to the sand afterwards, it's worth checking the morning conditions first: wind before 9 AM is usually the friendliest of the day.

Beach Break Cafe in South O is the one locals name first, and the weekend wait proves it. Downtown, Petite Madeline Bakery is the easy walk-from-the-pier choice. If you mainly want coffee, Revolution Roasters is the local roaster.
Where can I get breakfast early in Oceanside?
